Intent
Our intent is to ensure that all of our children have the opportunity of experiencing a new culture and language, promoting understanding and respect for others as well as themselves.

Pupils will have the opportunity to learn French and Spanish from year 2 upwards with specialist language teacher who are native speakers. Pupils enjoy weekly lessons. All children in Key Stage 2 are taught using a combination of games, songs and fun activities aimed at developing vocabulary for written and spoken Spanish and French. In addition to making the lessons fun and engaging the focus on grammar supports  students with English as well as Spanish and French.
