St.Augustine’s website gives you some information about our School, its aims, organisation and activities. Should you have any queries or wish to discuss any aspects of School life and work which have not been covered, I am available to discuss this with you. Within our School, we seek to create a supportive and friendly environment, where each child has the opportunity to develop spiritually, intellectually and socially. Our School is a happy and secure place where children are encouraged to aim for the highest possible standards in all they do. We hope to enhance each child's self image, build on their strengths and minimise weakness. Support from home is a vital factor in providing the child with a secure base for learning. Therefore we will work in partnership with you to provide the best possible education for your child.

The Prayer Garden
The prayer garden has been created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of St. Augustine’s. There is an area dedicated to quiet prayer which also provides space for classes to sit together and reflect on topics they have covered in classes. The garden has been designed, also as a sensory garden with beds and areas dedicated to the five senses. Each class is responsible for the care of an area of the garden, including the pond. The garden should provide a tranquil, reflective and educational environment for all members of the school community over the years to come.

Ofsted Report
The latest Ofsted schools inspectorate report describes St Augustine's Catholic Primary ‘a good school with outstanding features.' A full report can be read by clicking the link below.
Diocese of Arundel & Brighton
All voluntary aided schools are obliged by the School Inspections Act 2005 to arrange for a Section 48 inspection which evaluates the school's provision for worship and religious education. This inspection is different from the Ofsted inspection, which is about the secular work of the school. However, the two inspections complement each other in the areas that they cover. Section 48 inspections cover the school's Catholic life and worship and its provision, work and achievements in the field of religious education.
